Upconversion of standard DVDs is also excellent. But the real beauty of the LG BD390 is its wireless streaming. This Blu-ray player makes further use of the Internet as well by allowing direct streaming of both Netflix, if you are a subscriber, and the Pandora music service. Like most higher end Blu-ray players, Samsung BD-P1600p can upconvert your old DVDs, drastically improving their appearance on your HDTV to near HD quality. Finally there is a small blu-ray standalone that is fast, has a great picture and can bitstream advanced audio. It looks great in the rack and the netflix/pandora features are a nice bonus.
