My name is Grant and i am a full time custom Audio/Video/Automation technician. By technician i mean i have spent most of my adult life doing everything from pulling wire, crawling through attics and crawl spaces, fishing wires through every imaginable wall you could think of to connecting high end A/V equipment as well as hooking up elaborate home automation systems and writing custom programs for them.
It seems as though a lot of people have some sort of high definition t.v. in their homes connected to high def cable or satellite. So now that Blu-ray has become the industry standard for high definition movie discs the only logical next step is for people to want a Blu-ray player. With the high demand for these players the price for high quality Blu-ray players have come down substantially.
The mission of this site is to provide consumers with the best information on all kinds of Blu-ray players. Most people don’t understand that a lot of these players are way more than just something that you stick a movie in and press play.
Most Blu-ray players offer all kinds of extra features that could keep folks entertained forever without even inserting a disc! Of course there are some players that will just play discs and that is why i created this site. I want people to understand what they are getting before they spend their hard earned money.
